For those off you wondering if the ice will be out for the opener I have not so good news. In my opinion it will not be open. Walker bay especially. I have not looked at the big lake other then from Erickson landing and as of the 29th the narrows was not open. I hope im wrong but just a little over a week to go I just don't se it opening up. I however have an alterative lake that i fish. I fished it last opener and the results are posted with pics below. I am open the entire first week of season.
