Walleyes are still biting pretty good on Leech lake.
I have seen some fish move to off shore structure but when the wind blows fish can still be had on points and flats. June is a great month on Leech and we have lots of year classes present. Plenty for numerous limits to take home with many slot fish for the fun of catching. We have been seeing more over slot walleyes this year also. I am still useing a jig and minnow but many are using live bait rigs with leeches or crawlers. I have had some real good numbers the last 5 days and now is a good time to book a trip. On my home page you will see days yet open in June. These fish should hold where they are till mid July.
