Its been
awhile since
I have given
a fishing
report but I
have fished
13 days so
far this
month with
most days on
a different
lake. The
few days
that I have
been on
leech the
fishing has
been fair to
decent. I
have been
fishing
cabbage
weeds in
Walker bay
with most
days being
able to boat
a dozen
walleyes
with a 50/50
mix of
keepers and
larger fish.
Lindy rigs
with leeches
have been
working
well. The
issue is
fishing thru
the weeds
and it can
be difficult
to feel a
bite some of
the time.
Wind or lack
of does not
seem to
matter when
walleyes are
tight in the
cabbage so
fishing has
been
consistent
with a few
slow days
mixed in.
This pattern
lasted well
into august
last year
and I expect
it too this
year.
Many prime dates
available for
great walleye
fishing, book
now to lock in
your date!
